Anything in the short telephoto range. I'm particularly fond of my 28-98 mm zoom, where I shoot at 90 mm for portraits. I also use my 35-105 mm zoom at the longer focal lengths. Many folks say 135 mm fixed focal length lenses at the best. The point of the tele lens is that there will be less distortion, while you're able to work from a reasonable dsitance away from your subject. Too long a tele will result in a very flat facial image.
