Monumental


Im trying to do a photography project. Our topic is Monumetal...size/scale. Im trying to make one object look bigger then the other. Does anybody know how to do this or have any ideas on what to do? Do you know any paticular websites I can see ideas.

  I guess there are lots of different ways to interpret this.

One way to make an object look bigger than another is to bring it closer to the camera. You could position one object a few feet from the camera, and another object much farther from the camera. Use a small aperture and a wide to normal length lens to get a large depth of field so that both objects will be in focus.

One example (that I've seen done many times) is a person in the foreground holding out his hand, and in the background is a mountain, or famous building that looks like it is sitting in the person's hand. Cute.

  Thanks and I have tried something along those lines but I cant get both objects to foucs...and an object sitting on a hand in typical...I need something more creative.
