Problem with my Photoshop CS My Photoshop CS is acting atrangely, when I'm working on a certain photo it suddenly disappears, I have to do ESC to make the photo again appear and I have to do again but the photo and other text and toolbars keep on disappearing. can you please help. My pc is XP 512 40G

You can certainly do what Michael suggests, but first, why not check your PC. Have you run a defrag lately? If not, do so. If you have a spyware check and destroy, run that. Sometimes, it is not the software, but it is affected by these things that can eat up virtual memory.

I think that christy might be on the right track another thing that I would do would be to disconnect all the cables from the wall and the back of the computer for a few seconds. Sometimes you can get static built up which will make the computer run funny. I have done this and it clears up problems in an immediate flash.

I think the problem is virtual memory. the chances are the file you are working on is growing in size and sometimes ps just implodes! Try increasing the size of the scratch disks or just take your time, sometimes doing too much at once cause it to go blank

you need 1gb of Ram at the least to run CS with no glitches, it sucks memory like an SUV does Gas, try to get m ore ram than just 512mb
