wedding poses I was wanting the opinions of some of the wedding photographers out there. I will be taking pictures at a friends wedding in the near future. I want to take some breath-taking wedding pictures, other than the usual standard wedding poses, any ideas. Bryan

<<<< Photojournalist, not a wedding photographer. I'd say it depends on your approach, Bryan. You could go with the documentary technique which is popular these days and just keep your eyes open for great views. Or, you could study the work of guys like Monte Zucker or Dennis Reggae (sp?), and come up with your own interpretation of their work. What you can do is only limited by what your client wants and their imagination along with your own, the venue you're working in, and to some extent your equipment and how you use it.

I am a wedding photographer and I agree with Mark. Monte Zucker is probably the best at posing. Study his work. Some of the best shots are the ones that aren't posed or what you come up with on location, depending on the location.

posing is the worst, let them do what they want and freeze them when you see the magic
