Star Trails Reducing noise, crisp silhouettes
I was shooting in New Zealand, at the base of Mt. Cook trying to get a crisp silhouette and star trails. When I got the slides back, the back ground noise and somewhat fuzzy ridge line ruined the shot I pictured in my mind. I tried to use basic Photoshop correction but the noise in the night sky made any lightening useless.I need tips and suggestions to help me work on star trails and crisp silhouettes...onsite tips? Photoshop postproduction suggestions? HELP ME! Details: tripod, Canon GII, 50mm lens, Provia 100f slide film, cable release, f/4, ~1hr exposure Help ME!
