Photo Books I've got a Canon Elan7. I am real new to taking pictures and don't know how to get the most out of my camera. I don't develop my own photos. I just want to know how to use the camera to get great effects. Are there any books out there that can teach me some interesting things. I've read the manual inside and out. I need some new ideas. Any help?

Two great resources - the internet and your local book store.

I'm not sure but it sounds like you want to learn more about your camera... Start with the manual that came with it... Check out the Canon website and search the web for any books on your specific camera...

Try the Magic Lanterns Guide for the Elan 7. My 7 has been relegated to my backup film body but I still carry the Guide with me. Very easy explinations of how to use the different functions of your camera. I would recommend getting the Magic Lanterns Guide for any body you purchase. (And I don't even work for them!) Jay
