The next full moon is coming up, 25th


Ive got some setting already marked since the light is always constant. Any idea on your settings this friday

  That would depend upon what you plan to record.
The "sunny 16" rule..(f-16 at the reciprocal of your ISO setting), will capture the detail and texture of the moon and its craters. At this setting the moon will look kind of gray though, against a black sky.
One stop over...(f-11, at the same shutter speed as the setting above), will render the moon pretty close to how it appeared to the naked eye. With the added brightness, you will lose some detail but the moon and nearby stars will look more natural.

If you are using a SLR or DSLR, use a medium aperture setting (f-5.6 to f-8) to maximize the effective sharpness range of your lens. Use the formulas above to come up with the corresponding shutter speeds for your chosen ISO setting.
