problem entering the contest everytime I try to upload a photo to the contest, it takes me striaght to my gallery....what do I do?

I think the same thing is happening to me. I thought I was doing somthing wrong because this is my first time. Maby there is somthing wrong with the site. Sorry I cant be more hepl but at least you know your not the ony one its happening to.

Is the size of your picture smaller than the sizes recommended on the Upload Option? From what I can tell from what I've uploaded, it won't be entered into the contest, but will still appear in your gallery.

I'm not sure what steps you are taking to enter in the contest. This is what I do: I sign in. I click on upload new photo, choose 1, make sure add to gallery is checked off... then you pick your file, give it a title and description, make sure to pick your camera and what category you are entering it into, click that you have read the rules... then hit submit. Once it is uploaded you see your photos still in the sign-in area. But if you hit contest and view the most recent entries (just clicking on the shaded contest entries, or go to the category that you chose, you should be able to find your photo there). If it isn't working, you could e-mail Heather by hitting contact at the bottom of this page. Good luck! DDK

Another possibility: Only the first upload for the day goes into the contest. Any uploads after the first will not be added to the contest page but will be added to your gallery..., therefore it will teke you straight to your gallery. From my experience, even the first upload is not for the contest, for any uploads thereafter, there will be no category box will be presented. I.e., the photo will not go into the contest page, but will be added to your gallery.
