i have a nikon n80, can someone please tell me what is a good professional film to use indoors? I'll be mainly taking snapshots of my 9 month old baby. Also what about outdoors, and black and white?

Kodak and Fuji both make excellent professional color films. I like Kodak 400NC and 400UC. The former is better for skin tones and the latter is better for bright colors. For B&W I like Tri-X. Yes, it is contrasty and a little grainy, but I still like it.

Kerry gave wonderful advice....Its best you use ISO 400 and include the use of the built-in Speedlite for FILL-IN flash and avoid facial shadows For indoors use Fuji Press CH-400, or Kodak's Royal Supra 400. Outdoors? Try the Ilford Delta Pro 400 or the XP-2 Super ( BLACK & WHITE films ) and use lower ISO for the outdoors for COLORED films i.e. Fujicolor Reala CS-100, Superia CA-200, or Kodak's Royal Supra 200 or Gold and 'Max' GB-200. Have Fun!
