Which Lens? I am looking to purchase another lens. I am looking at a super-wide zoom. The question is a lens speed of f/2.8 make a big difference over a maximum lens speed of f/3.5. There is a big difference in price but will there be that big a difference in speed? Thanks alot.

f/2.8 is only 2/3 stop faster than f/3.5. It is not that much different in term of speed. The big different in price is in the material and quality used on those faster lens.

Yeah, I think most photographers would get by very nicely with an f.4 or f/5.6 ultra wide zoom. Peter Burian
