Contest deadlines I entered for the first time on Feb. 26, uploaded a photo "Overwhelmed Bride" in people category, but yet it doesn't appear in the contest. Was I too late or early? What is the time frame each month for entries? Thanks!

Time frame is from midnight Pacific time on the first to midnight Pacific time on the last day of the month. You might e-mail Heather (heather at betterphoto.com) and see what happened to it. It's probably just gone to archives. Once the month is over, they pull all the shots for that month, so you probably can't find it. If you're interested in keeping a record, go back in as soon as you enter it and get your number off of it and write it down someplace. Or easier still, get a member gallery and then you can go in there and find it.

The entries from the first to the last of each month are cleared at midnight on the last day. Each month is a new contest. If you uploaded your photo by ID number it may not appear in the most recent entries that day - it will go by date - and may be several pages back. Easiest way to upload is to sign in, click on upload picture and be sure to choose a contest category. Remember only the first photo you upload each day can be entered in the contest! We usually see the finalists for the month before between the 15th and 20th of the following month, and the winners should be announced by the 21st.
