elements 3.0 vs full version... I am interested in purchasing photoshop, and wonder if somone might tell me what I would gain by purchasing the full photoshop, vs elements 3.0? The price difference is substantial for me. Thank you!

If this is a "hobby", and your first time, I'd go with 3.0. You can always upgrade later. Elements is basically just a skeleton version. If you're into web publishing and designing, CS also comes with Image Ready. But if you have no prior knowledge of Photoshop, and plan to edit your digital files for personal use, stick with 3.0 for now. Otherwise, you may be overwhelmed. Take some courses. Michael H.
