for one person's opinions. Sounds as if you're looking at wide angles. You are wise to be looking at primes for architecture.

  Samo,
You need to be a whole lot more specific. Nikon's prime lenses are all good. You need to define what you want, and more so than landscape or architecure. To start with, do you want or need something wide, normal, long, etc? For the current price of Nikon's primes, you could own a bagful for the same price as one of their pro level zooms. At least in mentioning landscape and architecture, you could easily rule out all the expensive high speed lenses. Thus your main choices are the 20, 24, 28, 35, 50, 85, 135, 180, plus micros, which again would not be the best choice for landscapes or architecture.

  Michael,
Thank you for your response I personally was thinking about the nikon ,20mm2.8 or the 24mm 2.8, within my budget.
Thanks again.
