Best digital SLR for photographing children


What is the best digital SLR camera and lens for photographing children using natural light?

  I would assume that if you buy any digital SLR that it would do the job quite nicely. If this is as a job or something paying than maybe get somehing like a Canon 20D or such just over the $1000 price range. If you're taking these pictures outside in natural light, any lens that is suggested or that comes with the camera should work well unless this is LOW natural light. In which case, if you buy something like the Canon Digital Rebel, or any other canon, check out the EF 50mm f/1.8 lens for under $90. It's a very good lens dispite what some may say about it. I've even read about a pro photographer who uses that lens at his job including the super bowl. Hope this helps!
