Can I sell my photos???? Can I sell some of my photos that I take of arenas and stadiums? I travel for business and love sports. I have taken some nice photos of stadiums from the outside and was wondering if I sell them would it be legal? Also, what about photos I take inside the areans or stadiums during games? Thanks

Tom, This is a 'gray' area at best. In a nutshell, if the stadium is the main subject in the picture, the answer is no. If it is part of an overall scene, then you should be ok. You don't mention if the sports events are pro or not. But if you're shooting any pro or syndicated sports events, you will need to get written authorization to sell the likeness of anything dealing with the team or its members, and its logos. I do believe you can sell your images to the media - newspapers, magazines, etc, without any problems. Michael H. Cothran www.mhcphoto.net
