If you go to the Canon's web site: http://consumer.usa.canon.com/ir/controller?act=SupportDetailAct&fcategoryid=216&modelid=10510 Click on the "Glossary" under "Additional Information". You will see a whole list of lens terms. After you are familiar with the terms, you can go to Popular Photography & Imaging site to search on the lens test results: http://www.popphoto.com/article.php?section_id=2&article_id=351&page_number=1 Hope this helps.

Hi my name is Emmanuel And I use a Canon 20D also what about wide lens ? The best lens in the market now for my opinion is Canon 16-35mm if/2.8 but they cost about $1,400.00 now if you don't have that much money to spent the only other lens I will recommend is Tamron AF 17-35mm DI f\2.8-4.0 don't think to buy any other lens you're going to waste your money Thanks Emmanuel here is a review site you can check some lens www.fredmiranda.com Specialized in digital cameras, photoshop actions, and digital darkroom

Canon do a 10-22mm zoom (16-35mm equivalent) which is designed specifically for these cameras. Better range and won't kill your bank balance like the 16-35. Seems like a good one as well. Kev
