close up filters and shutter speed
Hello everybody! I'm looking for some help on a proper shutter speed without a tripod. My situation is that I just bought some of those +1, +2, and +4 close up filters that screw on to the lens on an SLR and allow you to focus a lot closer than normal. The lens I used was my Canon 80-200 with all 3 filters on the end. So, I focused on my computer screen and managed to see every single pixel on the screen within a diameter of about an inch and a quarter. So that would be the whole part of "betterphoto" in the web address. Anyways, what shutter speed do you figure will be needed if I have a prayer of hand holding my camera? Also, do you figure the different aperture settings will still work properly? Thanks!
