Photography Question

evaluating the right iso on a slide film

Dear Sir.
Problem as you very well know then slides needs almost perfekt exposure in order to look well.
But an 100 iso slide film is not just an 100 iso slide film.
Sometimes the film-manufackturer has made like a 120 iso film it changes from time to time hom many iso a slidefilm has got.

Professionel photografers purchase say 200 films. Then they take a test and shoot with one film and then they can evaluate how many isos the films acktually are. then they can adjust the isosetting on the camera to get correkt exposure.

It is simply too expensive for me to take 3 exposures of the same motive every time I need one, just to underexpose, corecktly expose and over expose in order to be sure to have the picture correktly taken.
Yours truly

You can set your ISO to 100 and shoot with confidence with most 100 speed slide films,..especially the "pro" versions.
You will need to be competant at evaluating reflected light and proper metering techniques...as the margin for error IS indeed narrow.

Most of us bracket to overcome "tricky" lighting situations,...not to compensate for discrepancies in the film's rated speed.
