Is it worth buying lenses?

I would love to be able to buy a high-quality professional camera, however, I have to wait until at least a year before I can buy professional equipment- maybe even longer since I plan on taking some courses. I love my camera- it a kodak easyshare CX6445 4 mega pixels. It works for me for now. I take portraits of my children, and some landscape/scenery photos and even some macro. Since I can not buy a better camera for a while, I was thinking about making the most of the one I got buy buying some lenses that is compatible but I do not know anything about lenses and was hoping someone could help me figure out if I will benefit from buying them! They are very inexpensive, so even if they benefit me only a little, thats fine. Here are some specs on my camera and the lenses:

Camera: Kodak EasyShare CX6445, 4 mp, Optical Zoom: 4X, Digital Zoom: 3.8X Advanced Digital Zoom, Features: High-speed precision, low light auto-focus, Programmed scene modes, Creative controls including aperture and shutter priority, High performance flash with auto fill, Continuous video with audio, On-camera Share button, Auto picture rotation sensor, Auto Focus: High-speed, low light auto-focus with selectable modes (multi-zone, center-zone), Effective Flash Range: Wide: 1.6 ft to 16.7 ft, Tele: 2.6 ft to 8.5 ft, Focal Length Equivalent to 35mm Camera: 33 mm to 132 mm, Lens Aperture: Wide: f/2.2-5.6, Tele: f/4.8-13 White Balance: Auto, Daylight, Tungsten, Fluorescent, Zoom: Optical: 4X, Advanced Digital Zoom: 3.8X, Total: 15X Guide Number (m / ISO 100): Automatic: (100 - 200); Manual: (100, 200, 400)

(geez I hope thats not too much info!)

Telephoto Lens: The RETINAR 37 mm Telephoto Lens from Kodak lets you capture high-quality close-up shots by taking you closer to the subject. Its high quality, all-glass lens gives you sharp pictures and excellent image quality.

Lens hood: The 37 mm Lens Hood from Kodak protects your camera lens from unwanted sun glare, allowing you to capture high-quality images.

Thanks SO much for your responses, I really appreciate your help!
