Buying a camera

I am wanting to buy a digital camera having saved up about $300. I could probably go a bit higher if necessary. What I want to do is photograph butterflies. I have been doing this for a few years on film but want to turn to digital. I need to be able to take pics from several feet away without disturbing the insects. Is this possible and does anyone have recommendations of suitable cameras?

The following compact digital cameras are quite recommended in shooting butterflies, Max. Canon Powershot A80,Minolta Dimage Z2, Nikon Coolpix 4300,or 4200. and the Sony DSC-P100 or P72.Check them out at CCI Camera City Inc. ---www.ccicameracity.com or call Information - 1-718-627-5600.

You need a camera with good zoom (10x) and resoulution (4 mpixel or higher)... here you can see some pricing and read good reviews...
