Buying a camera I am wanting to buy a digital camera having saved up about $300. I could probably go a bit higher if necessary. What I want to do is photograph butterflies. I have been doing this for a few years on film but want to turn to digital. I need to be able to take pics from several feet away without disturbing the insects. Is this possible and does anyone have recommendations of suitable cameras?

You need a camera with good zoom (10x) and resoulution (4 mpixel or higher)... here you can see some pricing and read good reviews... http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/cameraList.php?search=1&manSearch=0&resSearch=0&zoomSearch=4&storageSearch=0&priceSearch=0&lcdSearch=0&batterySearch=0&submit.x=30&submit.y=4
