Photography Question

KC Pagano

Selling photos for the first time

I am a young photographer with several years experience under my belt. I feel that I finally have a good selection of photographs which I would like to try and sell. If any one has any tips about getting started, and how many images I should think about showing to people, I appriciate it.

Kathryn, try visiting the website of FaceIT photos ( www.faceitphotos.com )or buy the great book "PHOTOGRAPHER'S MARKET " 2005 edition in the Amazon website ( www.amazon.com )---you can reserve a copy as soon as you can.

Kathryn - There's an old photography saying that I would recommend memorizing, and putting into practice:

"The difference between an amateur and a professional is that the amateur shows you everything he has, while the professional shows you only his best."

If you prepare your port folio with this in mind, you will be off to a good start.
