Photography Question

Pete Kuszmaul

best inkjet paper for portratis

I am trying to print big portraits on my EPSON 7600 and am having trouble finding paper that produces good skintones. So far I've tried Ilford pro semi-gloss and Epson pro semi-matte. The Ilford wasn't bad, but the Epson is terrible. (As an aside - it does really great senics and super vivid type work.)

Pete, Hi my name is Tommy and first of all let me say that I would love to get an EPSON 7600 or a 9600 but I don't have the funds right now, so I must say I'm feeling very envious. But as for true excellence in paper I would look into "Legionpaper.com" Legion photo paper holds the blue ribbon for quality and performance, they have superb inkjet photo paper.
Hope that helped, and if you ever come across an affordable EPSON 7600 or a 9600 keep me in mind, please ;)

The best are Canon and Epson. I prefer Canon cause the ink is by far less expensive and on the long run save you lots of money if you plan to print a lot of pictures... From Canon I will go with the i9900, Pixa IP8500 or the Pixa IP5000. the i9900 is great!!! for some none bias reviews you can go to http://www.steves-digicams.com/printers.html
