Excess Red in Hair - Digital Portraits Can anyone provide a definitive answer to what causes red "hot spots" in low key areas of hair and at the edge of bangs, etc. Using Fuji S2, standard 55K portrait flash kit. Please note: It's exactly the same thing seen in many television broadcasts. Heard lots of "probables" such as lack of infrared filtration, flash fire too long of duration (non-digital tubes that allow drop off to blend back into image), infrared, get a Fuji S3, etc. Any assistance appreciated.
