Studio Lights I've never used studio lights and am trying to muddle my way through it. So please bear with me... Is a tungsten 500w, 3200K equivalent to daylight? Will I need to use a filter, or just manually set the white balance?

Nope... Flash is close to daylight at 5500K. A filter will work as will changing the white balance (custom or tungsten setting will work. Auto white balance usually works as well).
