Hello, Since no one as responded, I'll take a stab at it. I don't think anyone can answer because we are looking at compressed JPG images, and we don't even know how much compression was used. So we are talking apples and oranges here. Also, Any image can be enlarged because the "average print viewing distance" goes up with the print size. (The average print viewing distance is twice the diagonal messurement of the print). Nice Photos, I'd make them big! Vince

Thanks Vince! Does saving your images as PSD files(Photoshop) affect the resolution after cropping and saving?

Hi Frank, PSD or TIFF is good. They are "lossless" formats. JPG is "lossy" (throws out data to make a small file) so JPG should be used only as a last step in your process, if used at all. Ideally, you still have the original high quality PSD or TIFF saved for future use. If your camera can save as RAW, that is the ultimate in saving the original data. Vince

For a wallet-size print, the image resolution should be 320 x 240 pixels minimum For a 4 x 6" print, the image resolution should be 640 x 480 pixels minimum For a 5 x 7" print, the image resolution should be 1024 x 768 pixels minimum For a 8 x 10" print, the image resolution should be 1536 x 1024 pixels minimum For a 16 x 20" print, the image resolution should be 1600 x 1200 pixels minimum For a 20 x 30" print, the image resolution should be 1600 x 1200 pixels minimum
