Photography Question

Collage or montage software

Does anyone know of a software solution or plug in for creating collages and montages. I'm not looking for stitching software, but software that helps speed up the process of blending and merging pics on different layers with perhaps some templates.

I used Microsoft Picture IT ! to do a collage for xmas gifts. I was well pleased with it since I knew absolutely nothing about what I was doing. It was simple and easy to understand. I also have Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 which came with my Canon Digital, It is neat also, altho I havent used it for the collages.

I have used Lumapix (http://www.lumapix.com) for about a year and I am pretty happy with it.

To see what I did with it go to my homepage

Hi Ken,
For collages, I use my photo programs and use layers with different transparecy & fade levels.
For Photo Montages, I like the freeware Mosanik, downloadable from Here-Mosanik Site
Uploading a partial montage I created with Mosanik. Good luck with your endevors!

Lumapix is great but it doesn't blend. Here is a sample.
