Night Shots With 100 Speed Slide

I have just switched over from Fuji 400 print to Fuji Sensia 100 slide film. Now, I used to use a f16 aperture for the 400 print film for most of my night shots. But what aperture should I use for 100 Sensia slide film? Also, is it a good idea to base the aperture on how much light is avaible?

-Thanks,

Kevin

The 100 speed slide is 2 stops slower than the 400 speed. So you need to triple the exposure time. For example, if you used to expose for 4 seconds at f16 with 400 speed film, you need to expose 16 seconds at f16 with 100 speed film. If you want to change the aperture to compensate the film speed, use f8 and same exposure time as you used before. Usually we base the aperture on how much depth-of-field around the subject. Hope this helps.
