Action Photos What would you say is the best way to approach images of a glass falling from one one's hand and smashing to the floor? I have tried so many procedures and failed. Well, not entirely. Mind you, the images are captured frozen even though the subject may be moving fast.

Use flash ... with rear-curtain sync ... if your camera supports this function. A slow shutter of 1/30 sec. will record the motion of the glass falling, and the flash will freeze the shattering fragments upon impact. Timing is critical, so you need to take a lot of frames (and break a lot of glasses).
