equivalent tungston light setting on digital camer

In the 35mm film world I photographed art/paintings with tungston reversal film and 2 tungston(3200K) lamps -- got great slides. New to digital, nikon Coolpix 8800, the manual speaks nothing of tungston lights. Assuming, White Balance setting "incandescent" with ranges from +3 to -3. I want to get as color correct in the RAW file before tinkering with the image in photoshop. What guidance is out there, before I setup and shoot dozens of pictures? ... thank you.

"Incandescent" means emitting light as a result of heating a wire filament. It is used interchangeably with "tungsten," the most common metal used as light bulb filaments.

If the CoolPix 8800 does not have a custom white balance that you can set with a white object under these lights or provision to set white balance directly for 3200°K, then start with incandescent and do bracket tests to determine the best setting.

This document on white balance and RAW processing from Adobe may be helpful to you: http://www.adobe.com/digitalimag/pdfs/ps_workflow_sec3.pdf
