Aperature Thought someone might know this. I have two shots of a waterfall in the woods. I want to get one of them enlarged to 10x15. I'm not sure which would be the better candidate for the enlargement. The compostion of both is exactly the same, except that in one the aperature is fairly large and in the other is small. The one with the small aperature appears to be sharper. There is some foreground blur, but it isn't a distraction. Which do you think would be best for the enlargement? Thanks, Jordan

Images shot at smaller apertures [f/11 or f/16] will usually be sharper than thos shot at smaller apertures. That's because there's more depth of field, that is a greater distance in front of and behind the focus point, offering a great zone of acceptable sharpness. Also, did you use a tripod? With regard to enlargements. With higher speed films, hand held cameras, etc., there's aleways the chance of fuzziness as one enlarges past 8X10 [8X12.] Hope this helps. John
