DUST!!!!! I attended the closing ceremony of the Sydney Paralympics Games today, including the free Concert from Bjorn Again. I was right up the front along with a few hundred other people all kicking up dirt and dust while dancing. It seems no matter how hard I try, my UV filters always get filthy (I use them to save my lenses), and there is always something on my mirror or prism no matter how hard I try to clean them. Compressed air cans seem to leave a residue on glass and last time I tried it, I needed the mirror professionally cleaned. How do photo journalists in war zones and the like keep their equipment clean? Or are they not as pedantic as I am? Any suggestions? Thanks.
