Photography Question

explanations about shutter & aperture settings,


 
 
a. hotlline help #nikon D100 b. any expert hints or websites explaining the shutter and aperture settings to avoid washed out and gray looking portraits, taking cross country running pictures that will come out clear using a 70-300mm nikkor lens with the appropriate settings. I want to get the same vibrant colors I used to get with the nikon n80, and even the canon powershot d 5. nikon d 100 is killing me.

greg lagrange's 200 meter dash is awesome. what were the settings??? I do cross country track and thursday is regionals and one of my last chances to save my reputation. any suggestions of settings. it will be about 1 pm. and then again at 5pm. here goes one more time with the downloading
