CPL filter use


Hi another one on the CPL filter. while using with Canon EOS rebel K2 does the camera adjust the apperture automatically? secondly one has to rotate the CPL filter till the relections are lost. when I pointed the camera towards the clouds in the sky and rotated the filter there was a point where the clouds turned dark and more visible in the sky. is that the point of rotation one needs or the vise verse. comments open.

  Yes, the camera's meter automatically adjusts for the light loss from the polarizer.

Yes, if removal of reflections is what you are after.

Yes, the point where the sky is deepest blue is the maximum polarizing effect. But it's entirely up to you whether you want maximum effect, or turn the filter to give more subtle effect.
