Creating an Action

I want to create an action that takes a folder full of TIF files and turns them into JPEG files.

I can do this on an image by image basis, but I don't know how to tell photoshop to go into the file folder, turn the TIF into a JPEG, then grab the next image and keep going until the folder is done. It seems like I'm just missing a last step or something.

Can anyone help with this?

Jerry

Jerry, you can accomplish this in photoshop by by creating a "droplet". You can find this under "File - Automate - Create Droplet". After you've created your action, you create a droplet. This essentially becomes a "hot folder" where you can drop your images into and jump-start your designated action. Hope this helps.
