Macro lense for Nikon FM10

I know this topic has just been posted but had sorta a different question.
I do mostly flowers, and would like to get a Macro lens what lens would be good? I have the Nikon Fm10 . I don't want anything to expensive. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Elizabeth

Nikon has an expensive manual focus---85mm/2.8 PC Micro ( Tri-State Camera: www.tristatecamera.com or call toll free 888-991-9996 ). For a much lower price, Tamron has a 90mm 2.8 with Macro focus---about $500.( also available at Tri-State )

As far back as the 70's, excellent macro lenses were made by non-camera manufacturers for all makes. The Vivitar 90 f2.5, Tamron and Tokina equivalents come to mind. Don't pay over $200, at KEH.com or on auction sites. If you don't mind metering in the stop-down mode (aperture stopped down to what you're shooting with), the older Nikkor 50 (or 55mm)f3.5 non-AI is a real bargain. For a litle more money, the Nikkor AI version lets you meter with the aperture open.
