Will Tamron AF28-200mm Fit Canon TX? I have a Canon TX and am looking to buy a Tamron AF28-200mm F/3.8-5.6 LD (Asp) IF Super lens. Will it fit with the manual focus, Canon mount and all?

The Canon TX uses Canon's old FD lens mount for manual focus lenses. Lenses designed for Canon's new EF electronic autofocus lens mount cannot be used on Canon's FD-mount cameras. Tamron's AF 28-200 is designed for Canon's (and other makers') autofocus mounts. Tamron has a manual focus version of the 28-200 zoom, Model 171A which can be mounted to your TX, using Tamron's Adaptall interchangeable mount system. Tokina also makes a manual focus 28-200 f/3.5-5.6 zoom available in the FD mount, model SZ-X282(C).
