what characteristics of a35mm SLR make it different from the rest of the 35mm family?

  SLR means single lens reflex, the image is seen right through the taking lens by a mirror that move out of the way when you press the shutter, with other types (twin lens reflex?tlr and rangefinders) you are actually looking through a different lens and at close distance can through your shot off center. Do you mean unexposed or under exposed? The first means the frame was not exposed to light and the second is the frame was exposed to not enough light. Magenta(red), Cyan(blue), and yellow.
