Resolution Enhancement I have an older Sony Mavica Digital camera that has minimal resolution. I would like to be able to print acceptable 5X7's and was wondering if there is a software package that will allow me to simulate increased resolution for better prints.

They call what you want to do "interpolation". That is, the computer takes a guess at what is between two pixels. This is very obvious, because it usually just takes the average of two colours either side of it. So, you end up with a smudged kind of effect at best, and a pixelated effect at worst. My recommendation is to accept the smudged effect by interpolating on the software level, then softening the photo to reduce pixelisation.
