Which PRO-Digital camera?
AS A FILM Photographer (Children's Portraits & Events Pics )Also, 5+ years PC-user (*Photoshop 7 access) What kind of digital camera do I need to get my photos out-there to a news publisher?...film seems to be too slow for current events... I've been motivated by the captured- moment,cropping,red-eye& blemishes/removal/enhancement....And sometimes, artistic effects...cartoon, paintings, sharpenng... My Question: What PRO-Digital Camera can I use that gets My job done? WHERE I CAN use my decades of SLR skills to cross-over into digital? Thanks so much! MJ

As far as crossing over into digital, you are already there. If you have the 35mm skills, all you have to do is keep on applying them. Get a digital with at least 4 mp tho, and you can get cheap step up rings and keep on using your filters, hoods etc, too! (pretty much). Do get a cam that shoots tiff or raw tho, or be able to save that way for newspapers mags etc.
