team portraits What is the correct way and why?for taking a team portrait,ie sun behind the team or in front?I have done both I like the shadow to drop away, but it causes some teams to squint at sun?where as if sun is behind the shadow comes at me and the flash attempts to remove the shadow, not always completely though, what do you guys think??

The best scenario is to find a shaded area which will accommodate the entire team, and meter off their faces. If you have to shoot in the sun, try side-lighting and meter off a light colored object important to the scene.

Yes,...If you can lock exposure and re-compose, use the subjects' faces as your point of critical importance when in the shade. You can also do this when side-lit in the sun...(as long as no one is wearing a bright white clothing.)
