My browser won't even let me access this site. It tells me that it's unable to authenticate the site license.

What are they supposed to be about? What do you see if you can access the site? Give us some more info before we check it out.

Pam

Ok, I managed to get on OK this time. Don't know what was going on the first time.

Looks like they can offer such low prices because they don't send a manual, there are no refunds, and there's no shipping cost. It's probably cheaper for the companies that own the software as well because they avoid all of the packaging costs.

I've never seen the site before, though. I can't really tell you how legit they are. They definitely seem to be contracted with some good software companies. The CS Upgrade is only $30 less than at the Adobe site. The Photoshop 7.0 is really cheap, but I've seen it for $100 used on Amazon.... I'd bet that a lot of that is because you don't get a manual or the ability to return it.

  Thanks Pam.

It's a pretty long download, even at broadband speeds...

Even without manuals it's tempting, because Photoshop is well documented in countless books, tutorials, etc, etc at a bookstore, library or website near you.

I submitted their link to Adobe to check if they were aware of these guys.

OTOH, a friend of mine has PS6 and he's willing to sell it cheap to me. I think I will buy that and then upgrade it to CS (but CS on this site is only $140 for the full version; I had said the upgrade but no, it's the FULL version...)

If they're in the US you can look on the Better Business Bureau's website (I haven't got the URL, look it up on google). If they're not on there, they're not legit...
