Photography Question

I want to know more about my camera

I have a Canon PowerShot A40. I've had the camera for about 2 years now and know very little about it's features other than the "auto" setting. It is only a 2 MP camera and is getting outdated rather quickly, however, for the pictures that I've taken over the years, it's been just great. I would like however, to be able to do more with it. I've never had a camera course and am considering taking several of yours. Is it a decent camera to use to participate in your courses, and if so, where can I go to find out more about actually USING this camera to it's fullest ability...lol, and mine, before I start any of your courses. Also, do you think that your courses are too advanced at this point for a beginner like me, keeping in mind that I know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about photography?
Thanks,
Bruce

I am a beginner just like you and I just got a Canon Powershot A80. What really helped me learn about all of the cameras features was reading the instrucion booklet that came with it. I hope my advise helped you.
