Removing unwanted images from a photo
Hi I recently had a nice picture taken of my wife and I at a dinner although it was spoilt by the sillouette of a stem from a plant which was on the table in front of us. The stem image cuts across the face on the photo and I was wondering if there was anyway this could be removed from the photo without impacting on the photo itself.

The photo (print or negative) can be scanned and opened in Elements, Photoshop or other imaging program. A skilled practitioner can clone adjacent pixels to hide the unwanted plant stem. A face is less forgiving of sloppy technique, but certainly possible. Let a friend who plays around with Photoshop try this for you, but ALWAYS save a copy of the scan before any work is done.
