i got a photo of a bald eagle that was taken with a canon 75-300 zoom lens.i knew the lens was too small when I got the pic backand could'nt see the eagle too good so I put it in the photoshop 6 and zoomed in on it to see what it look like well I liked the results and would like to know is how to reset the pixels and the zoom

Not sure what your question is.

Are you asking how to return the image to the original state of when you shot it before you zoomed in and resized it? If so, then you can't. You have to go back to the original image you scanned. Once you open an image file, change it, and save it with the same name, you are over-writing the original with the new image.

If you are asking how you can get a better scan of the image, then you will need to see what your scanner's max ability is. Given the level of cropping you are talking about, I'd say put your negative in a film scanner and scan it in at about 2400dpi - 3600dpi and crop the part you want. You should be able to get some more detail.

If you don't have a high rez scanner, take the slide/negative to a local digital place like Wolf Camera and have them scan it at the higher rez on their scanner.
