Information on an old Tamron zoom.

Hi Mike here I recently got my hands on a Tamron 3.8~4.5 f=80~250mm zoom macro 62mm thread, its an old used one but seems in good nick alas I got no manual with it.Good buy I think from ebay, question is does anyone know anything of this lense or it's performance capabilities, its heavy and pretty old I bet but I intend to try my best to get some good B&Ws with this odd assortment of gear.I've been a painter for many years but the canvases are taking up too much wall space and I love B&W landscapes.I would be interested in any news on this old lense. Mike

My guess is it uses Tamron's Adaptall interchangable mount that can changed to various (manual focus) mounts. You might try Tamron customer service for more info.
