How to change color of photo to Sepia in Photoshop
Does anyone know how to get your photos to look Sepia or old fashion using Photoshop? Also, while Im at it, does anyone know how to blur a background? and can you tell me how to keep one color in a photo while the rest is black/white? I attached the photos I am working with. Also, I am a beginner at photography, I use a fujifilm s5000, just fell in love with photography after the birth of my daughter 5 months ago. So if you have any suggestions, criticism, etc. on my photos, I would love to hear it. Thanks.

Hi Jodi, This is how I get the sepia effect: Open your image (I always go to "save as" and give it a different name, this way you don't lose your original) Go to: Layer >New Fill Layer >Solid Color I choose orange as the fill color and click OK. Then I go to the layers box in the bottom right corner and change the Opacity from 100% to around 50% and that's it. You should experiment with the opacity setting and the shade of orange fill to get the look you want. I expect there are many more ways to do it. I hope this helps. Regards, Del

Hi Jodi, in Photoshop there is also the channel mixer and color balance. I believe these options are under "adjustments". You can also take your photos to a Kodak picture maker and choose that option there. There are also a variety of filters you can use depending on your camera. As far as the B&W, open your photo (save is as "save as") choose "layer" duplicate layer> then "image"
