Hallmark Institute of Photography Does anyone know anything about this very small photo school in Massachusetts? I have thoroughly read thru their website, and I may be attending there in the fall. Any thoughts?

Hi Jeff... I was considering attending Hallmark Institute this fall myself. However I have decided against it only because I have 2 years of college credits to finish up first. I did go visit the school- and small is definately the word for it. The school consists of two buildings and a town that if you blink- you'll miss it (and I come from a small town) Anyway, I am not sure how reputable it is, from what I understand not a whole lot of people have heard of it... but I can tell you that my old boss who owns a very successful studio of her own has a certificate in photography from them, as well as the photographer who worked for her. When I went to visit I found the program and the work of the students to be very impressive. So if you can rough it out in the middle of nowhere during the cold winter months of mass... and can find your way on your own when they set you free in 10 months.. then go for it- I think the education is worthwhile. Have you gone to visit at all? Good Luck!

I used to live in Turnere's fall s right near Hallmark. I know several people who went there, and they loved it! Lots of no nonsense hard work , but it's a great little school...
