Frames That Look Like 3D

I have seen images posted that have frames around them where it appears to be 3D. Can anyone help with how to do this? Thanks.

Hi Cathy. If you have Photoimpact, try this link:

http://graphicssoft.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.geocities.com%2FHeartland%2FValley%2F1725%2Fframes.html

Otherwise, a quick Google search on "frames for digital photos" will reveal loads of how-to instructions for most photo editing software. Cheers,
DC

There are a lot of programs available that you can buy that offer all sorts of frames but there are also a lot of freebies.

If you have Photoshop Elements, you can go to http://hiddenelements.com/freetools.html and get the Hidden Power Actions III. They include all sorts of things along with 67 of Bug Guinn's frame actions. Bud is one of those good guys that made a lot of different styles of frames and offer them free to everyone.

You can also get Bud's Frame actions for Photoshop (and may work in other PS Plugin Compatible Programs) here:
http://www.outdooreyes.com/photo60.php3
or All of Buds frames (and a lot more actions) can be downloads from:
http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/
Just go to the retouching section. You must join the forum to be able to download but this is free and it is well worth becoming a member as there is tons of stuff; actions, tutorials etc and a great place to get retouching information.
