CF/2 versus microdrive write speeds Does anyone know if microdrives have longer write times between shots versus CF/2 cards. i'm upgrading from an old mavica and write times to floppys always had me missing a shot. i'll be purchasing a canon 300D in the next week or 2 and don't want a repeat of the lag between shots. also, if anyone know how much of a battery drain microdrives are compared to CF media ANY input would is welcome and greatly appreciated. thanks in advance!

Hi Ap. There is a fairly old but relevant article here:- http://www.dpreview.com/news/0009/000905031gbmicrodrivetimings.php Believe me, with the shot buffer of the 300D either a microdrive or CF card will totally outperform the old Mavica/floppy system. Enjoy the 300D, super camera. Cheers
