How to improve this shot?

Artificial Flowers, Paris Street Market
Normally I don't like artificial flowers, but this closeup gave a nice focus on color.

Docked Fishing Ship, Reykjavik, Iceland
I submitted a closeup of the yellow cleat and red ship but this wider shot may be richer while still showcasing the color.

Collage on Wall of Paris Bldg
I felt there are too many colors and they are too chopped up to be a color submission but on the other hand the variety adds spice.

Icelandic Sweater
Since this is also pattern as well as color, I left the thread hanging down in the center to provide a little echo.

Shot this one (my first night shot) with my Pentax MZ70 with standard 28-80 lense (Pentax)at 2:00am with Kodak Gold 400; F4.5 with 2 secs exposure and lite diffuser filter...how could I inprove this shot...looks too busy to me i.e. street lights over exposed?

Simply in my opinion the pic looks to be in a great place. I think the diffuser is making it too blurry. I would ditch it, and then the pic would seem a tad more crisp as you know... Other wise the location is great

hi Pete i dont think the photo needs ANY improvement. I think the blur adds to the photos unique-ness. the color and brightness of the lights agianst the black background has a intenseand cool contrast. nice job.Tiffany Barkevich Antigodess@hotmail.com
